Funtanazza area is surrounded by a lush and crushed vegetation dominated by the cicadas sing. The beach is dominated by the ruins of the old holiday home, Casa al mare Francesco Sartori, built in the ’50s by the mining society to host Ingurtosu and Montevecchio miners’ children. Another characteristic of this place is the presence of sea fossils in the rocks on the surrounding hills. Here the sand is not fine and dark because is rich in iron while the sea, when it is calm, has beautiful and different colours depending on the sandy depth. The beach ends in the calcareous promontory of Sa Calada Bianca, which goes down in the water.
